    When one talks about running a marathon, they are generally judged for being impulsive or being a super athlete. And even though any of us who gets all those skeptic reaction lunge back by using the famous line from a Will Smith movie “People can't do something themselves, they want to tell you can't do it. If you want something, go get it. Period.”  But still deep down, we always think that running for a marathon is near impossible. However with the right amount of training, and with the right nutrition plan one can always run a marathon. A marathon does not require a sudden boost of energy, like a sprint needs. What is needed of anyone is to be able to maintain a speed throughout the course of the run.

    There are certain products and certain exercises that can definitely prepare you to run for a marathon. Endurance products are a must for anyone who is planning on running a marathon. Energy drinks, protein shakes and energy bars are available across the stores in order to gear you for your upcoming challenge. These products provide sustained energy to the body as well as keep the body hydrated which plain old water cannot provide in the case of marathons. Moreover they keep a balance of electrolytes in the body which further enhances the performance during a marathon. Protein shakes, on the other hand will do be helpful in building up muscles and hence again making your body stronger for this feat. Second most important tip for running a marathon is to take ample amount of iron supplements in the day. Now I am not recommending to chuck half of the bottle down your throat in one gulp, they should be taken on a regular basis in order to increase your hemoglobin levels (oxygen carrying capacity) in the blood so that one does not end up feeling too fatigued or out of breath when running for a marathon.

    Training can also be helpful in increasing the hemoglobin level as well as give you the endurance and the resistance that your body needs. So keep these important facts in your mind and enjoy running a marathon.
