Vitamin A is very important for night vision. There is a dye that is formed when a person enters a dark room or poorly lit room which is known as “visual purple”. This chemical present in the eye needs Vitamin A in order to be formed. Those who are deficient suffer from “night blindness” that is a person is unable to see at night. Vitamin A also plays a role as an antioxidant which helps in slowing down the process of aging and other diseases which are related to aging. Therefore, Vitamin A should become a part of daily routine in order to lead a healthy life.
