  • Maintaining Hemoglobin using IRON

    Iron is an essential element for the body because it helps in maintaining the amount of hemoglobin present in the body. Hemoglobin is an oxygen carrier present in the red blood cells and hence does most of the work as it takes up waste material in form of carbon dioxide and bicarbonates and provides with oxygen. When hemoglobin is less than its normal value, it results into anemia which can be extremely dangerous and in some cases fatal if not paid attention to. General signs due to decreased amount of haemoglobin can cause fatigue and difficulty in breathing depending on the severity and the amount of work that is done. Iron supplements are very important, especially for females because they are more prone to anemia. Hence iron should be taken on daily basis in order to overcome any such deficiency diseases
